Try on EVERY STYLE and then choose the dress that looks the most beautiful on YOUR BODY.
Above is an excerpt from our 2021 Edition's cover feature, "Ain't Love GRANDE". For the feature, we photographed Daniella Karagach + Pasha Pashkov, two of the married pro's from ABC's hit reality series, "Dancing With The Stars". That's Daniella, showing a little leg in a dress by custom bridal designer Lé Lauriér, in one of the hallways of the stunning new boutique hotel, The Château Grande. Daniella (and her partner) just recently won DWTS' Season 30 Mirrorball Trophy!
Within the feature's Q&A, we picked the couple's brains for advice on getting married. More specifically, on getting ready to get married. The wedding planning process. And Daniella had some terrific advice for the brides out there about to start their search for their dream dress: "Try on every style and then choose the dress that looks most beautiful on your body."
For many brides-to-be, once they have that ring on the finger, the hunt for the dress immediately begins. With dress tunnel vision, they rush to their social media, they buy [our] magazine, and they look around online. Then they start making appointments at bridal salons that carry those dresses they loved in the photos.
The thing is, many brides don't end up buying that dress from the photo! Once they try it on and look in the mirror, several realities set in. The bride may not be as tall as the model in the photo she favorited, or have the same body type. That's when it's best to communicate your thoughts with the bridal consultant helping you out at the salon.
With all this in mind, we come back to Daniella's advice: "Try on every style and then choose the dress that looks most beautiful on your body."
