Did you know that red is the first color people see? True. It's a great accent color. Today we're looking six photos [from our magazine] that had a splash of red that we loved.
Nothing subtle about this one. The day we photographed our 2019 cover was cold, gloomy, and raining. POURING. So we grabbed a red umbrella to change the dismal tone Mother Nature was intent on creating.

We loved this photo from our 2016 cover photo shoot. But it was a lot of blue. So we added that deep red cocktail. Molly added the smirk.

Nothing but warm tones in this photo from our 2018 cover feature. But that sexy red lip still pops!

We definitely didn't hide the red in our 2020 cover feature. We wanted something to stand out from the hustle and bustle of the stretch of Broadway in front of Gotham Hall. And we got it! ...in the form of MV Limo's 1956 Ford Fairlaine.

Weylin's building is bold and masculine. We wanted something overtly and aggressively feminine to play against it, without obstructing that gorgeous architecture. This deep red bouquet did the trick!

This one. In planning the photo shoot for our 2022 cover and feature, we did not intend to shoot a red dress. But White House Bride brought this Ines Di Santo number to the shoot and we couldn't resist. This "getaway dress" is dazzling against the golden sunset.
