For the Spring 2016 collection, Anne Barge unveiled a beautiful daydream befitting of the bride-t0-be’s vision of her perfect nuptials in New York City on Thursday afternoon. Utilizing luxurious fabrics with cloud-like layers of organza, lush folds of crepe de chine, intricate embroideries, and an ethereal palette with hints of vintage rose, three collections were presented, each with distinctive sophistication.
The backside of the gowns are as masterfully and intricately created as its face, demanding awe from every angle as it makes its walk down the aisle.
Versatility was apparent among this collection in its tones, silhouettes, and expression. The female form is celebrated in a fresh, optimistic, and approachable manner.
Anne Barge does not deviate from her traditional and romantic roots (which she captures with exquisite execution), but she does explore the many faces of the modern bride, always maintaining utmost composure, romance, and elegance.
The Spring 2016 Collection from Anne Barge has been a highlight to the start of our Bridal Market Week here atSophisticated Weddings. A celebrated occasion indeed as longtime Anne Barge Vice President Shawne Jacobs and her husband, Steven Jacobs, assume ownership of the Anne Barge brand, while Anne herself will remain with the company in a large capacity as Creative Director. This has been a very exciting debut for the bridal brand that has become universally synonymous with poised ethereal beauty.
